Reservations:
Call 1-800-325-0720 (group reservations) and ask for the Southern Breeze SCBWI room
block at the Birmingham Southeast Drury Inn on Grandview Pkwy.
Room Block reserved:
Doubles and Kings are $69.99 per night, suites $85.99 per night. Room block will expire
September 17. The rates will still be available after that date, but they will not
hold rooms past then.
Directions to the Drury Inn and Suites:
Off I-459 take Exit 19, Mountain Brook/Hwy 280 and go east on Hwy 280. At the first
light, turn left onto Grandview Pkwy. The hotel is almost immediately on the left
behind Ralph and Kacoos restaurant.
Directions to Spain Park High School From Drury Inn:
Exit the hotel turning right on Grandview Pkwy. Turn left at the light to be heading
east on Hwy 280. Go approximately 2 miles and turn right on Hwy 17 South. Go 3 miles
on Hwy 17 South. Turn right at the light into the school.
Directions to Spain Park High School:
From I-459 take Exit 19 at Hwy 280 and head East. Go approximately 2 miles and turn
right on Hwy 17 South. Go about 3 miles and Spain Park High will be on the right.
From I-65 take Exit 247 at Valleydale Rd/Hwy 17 and go north on Hwy 17 approximately 3.5 miles. Turn left at the light into the school.
At the School:
Take the 3rd right into the parking lot on the left side of the school. Enter
the building in the center of the left side.
