Contests for Writers and Illustrators

2007 Southern Breeze Writing and Illustrating Contest Winners

Drumroll please. . . . . .

And the Winners Are . . . .

The 2nd Annual Southern Breeze Writing and Illustration Contest was a big success with many fabulous entries. I'm sure the judges had a difficult time selecting the winners. Judging sheets will soon be landing in the mailboxes of all who entered.

Announcing the winners at the wik07 conference in Birmingham October 20 for the first time was a lot of fun. Donna and Jo enjoyed being able to hand out the winning certificates in person and photographing of all the winners. All winners received certificates , and first place winners received an additional certificate redeemable for a free Southern Breeze conference next year.

The 2007 Writing Contest Judge was Arianne Lewin, Asst. Editor, Hyperion in NY.

Arianne was a featured speaker at wik05. All manuscripts were submitted anonymously.
