Kate McKean joined the Howard Morhaim Literary Agency, Inc. in 2006. In addition to working with clients, she is an adjunct professor at New York University. She is the author of the forthcoming book WRITE ON: Publishing, Books, and Navigating the Creative Life to be published by Atria, based on her newsletter, Agents & Books, found at https://katemckean.substack.com/ She is primarily interested in fiction and non-fiction for young adults and middle grade readers in the areas of contemporary fiction, romance/romcom, LGBTQ issues, fantasy, magical realism, horror, and science fiction, as well as graphic novels and graphic memoir/non-fiction for all ages. She is not looking for picture books at this time.
