Melanie serves as the International Regional Advisor Coordinator for the SCBWI. She writes English Language Learner (ELL) and other curriculum, including picture books and video scripts, for the educational market. In addition, Melanie writes early readers, chapter books, and graphic novels. Her stories have appeared in many children’s magazines, including Highlights and Highlights Hello. Originally from the west coast of Canada, Melanie lives in the Netherlands with her family and their snaggletooth cat.
