Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I left home for college to Penn State where I was an English major and Psychology minor. After graduating from Penn State, I went to Pace University and received my Masters in
Publishing. Some of my favorite activities include reading, traveling, going to music festivals and museums, and
watching many, many shows & movies. I'm currently an Associate Editor at Scholastic where I work on picture books, middle grade and YA. I want stories by BIPOC creators. In picture books I'm looking for diverse stories and cultures, Black joy and love, and SEL topics. In middle grade I'm looking for contemporary pre-teen struggles as well as adventure stories. In YA I'm looking for horror, psychological thrillers, dark/gritty contemporary, and some romance.
